Course Reflection Paper

My reaction to the writing I have done this semester was it was challenging at first but going further into it I was getting the hang of it. The quantity of writing was very general, to the point, and very open about what needed to be written. I was honestly thinking that these assignments are too hard to complete and that I might need to work on my writing so I wouldn’t fail this class. I thought this class would be very hard and I might fail because my writing isn’t that good enough to complete what was given to us. I thought of that reaction because of the work that was assigned to us like one of the assignments asking us to was the winter season polished draft.

My strengths as a writer was finding sources and summarizing information in my writing. I think this was a good skill for me as a still up becoming writer because Im believe this course will help my writing significantly. It helps me because these assignments we’re very challenging, asking me to summarize passages and to find their sources and to evaluate or analyze them. And I feel like that was a great practice for me and you help me in a long one. One of those assignments or in the spring folder, it was annotated bibliographies. Another example is wearing. We had to find a rhetorical device using logos, ethos and pathos and I had to find a commercial or a video. I had to summarize the video and explain whether it was logos, ethos, or Pathos.
I still need to improve my conclusion and analysis making skills. I feel like if I had those schools down packed it will be a lot easier to show me when I have an assignment. I also need to improve on my introduction or my thesis. I feel like those are one of the biggest issues that I have and it needs to be taken care of by next semester. Both of those were me talking about my rhetorical devices assignment.

Yes, my writing process changed During the semester. It changed by me really focusing on what the concept or what the season questions are asking me. In the beginning I was a little confused on what and how to write professionally. Now I feel a little bit confident in my writing. I feel like I improve in my sourcing and my summarizing and my MLA Formatting.

The revisions I have done on my papers were the annotated bibliographies. I misspelled a lot of words and I didn’t source my information on those as well.There wasn’t any peer review the teacher said that I didn’t source my words pretty good and some of my formatting was pretty bad and I needed to adjust it and I’m thankful for her telling me that improve my annotated bibliographies. Therefore going forward I feel like it will be more helpful for me to follow through and follow through with the directions. It will be better for me.
