About Me

I love elegantly applying technology in the industrial and nuclear setting to improve the operations experience. As a qualified operator and technologist with nearly 10 years of nuclear industry experience, I understand how important and challenging it is for engineering, design, and operational philosophy to fit together.

For the past nine years I’ve been privileged to work in the rewarding field of nuclear operations and technology as a reactor operator in the prestigious US Navy Nuclear Propulsion program and later at the forefront of nuclear fuel production. I specialize in industrial control systems focusing primarily on SCADA and PLC software and enjoy leveraging my passion for programming to create innovative solutions to business problems. I’m a life-long learner who is constantly expanding my library on topics ranging from science and technology to philosophy and history.

In 2023, I decided to attend university to pursue an education commensurate with my experience. I am attending Old Dominion University majoring in cybersecurity because my continued work in critical infrastructure requires a well rounded outlook on technology that integrates security at all levels. I look forward to using my education and experiences to become a competent leader in industrial automation, to create resilient; safe; and secure systems, and to improve the operations experience.
