After taking Cell Biology, I have learned many new things about cells that will benefit me in my future field of marine biology. I think one of the most important topics I learned about throughout this cell biology course has been the hypertonic, hypotonic, and isotonic solutions. This will be apparent for me because I am going to need to know about this when studying marine animals and possibly the cells within these marine creatures. Another part of this that I learned which is going to benefit my in the future is better understanding how cells work independently and together with other cells, and the process by which these cells complete activities such as cell division and gene expression. Outside of this, this class has truly made me grow as a student by actually requiring me to apply myself and the knowledge I have previously obtained.
