Journal Entry 8:

Complete the Social Media Disorder scale.  How did you score?  What do you think about the items in the scale?  Why do you think that different patterns are found across the world?

After completing the Social Media Disorder scale I have noticed that social media has a very low factor in my everyday life. There were more No’s than Yes’s. The items listed in the sale made you think a lot harder on how an individual may think compared to someone who uses social media every minute of the day. Of course the scale is neutral and the results honestly depend on the individual and their atmosphere. For instance, individuals that live in Texas or L.A. are more likely to have a social media issue because that is where most social media influencers live.
