This article conducts a creative analysis of the objectives, forms, current trends, and characteristics of North Korean cyber terror attacks. Many researchers suggest a method in which increase further progress towards successful international policy response (Hwang). North Korea is currently withholding a threat to international stability through its ongoing advancement of nuclear weapons and long-range ballistic missiles. Cyberterrorism have become an attractive option for North Korea due to the low costs associated with launching cyber-attacks. North Korean government remains at the top of orchestration of cyber-attacks upon other states.
Researchers utilized perspectives from criminological theoretical frameworks and the network theory of worldwide politics. Analyzing expert’s individual view about policy response and suggestion of a way of action is taken on by researchers. At this moment of time no one a addressed this social issue with North Korea not even the states that are victims. Although there has been an increase of threats to cybersecurity many individuals have noticed the lack of definition of cyberterrorism for international society. As of right now, relevant international cases remain a prominent problem in terrorism studies (Kim,2017).
Methodology research method was used to utilize a semi-structured expert interview approach to examine the ways in which experts in the field of information security and cybercrime perceive North Korea’s cyber-attacks. Policy Analysis via expert interviews explores motivations and trends of North Korean cyber terror attacks and analyzes the common stances that experts take regarding deterrence of these cyber terror attacks. Each of the methods are just a general way of researchers finding the best way to construct there data effectively. In relation to social sciences, North Korea cyber attacks seemingly studies society in both perspectives.
