<\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nI recently spent the last seven months traveling to five different states with my husband and two golden retrievers before settling in Fort Worth, Texas for the next 2-3 years. While my husband helped save the world from COVID by assisting as a travel nurse LPN, I had quite a bit of time for self-reflection as my career came to an unexpected hurdle (also resulting from COVID). As the world was forced to reinvent identities, I too had to decide if I would stay in my career in the movie theater industry. I used to be on the path of becoming a General Manager or Region Leader for Cinemark, and “working my way up the corporate ladder” as most who participate in the traditional rat race do. But instead, I took a leap of faith to go back to school and finish my degree in Business to create something for myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am currently a junior studying online at Old Dominion University in an effort to obtain my BSBA in Marketing and Minor in Entrepreneurship while my husband finishes his BSN degree here in Texas. Just like many other 20-somethings, I have no clue what I truly<\/em> “want to do when I grow up”. I have dabbled with multiple certifications and licenses, even considered pilot school and the Air Force. However, I do<\/em> know what type of life I want to live and what type of person I want to be, which I believe is the best direction to have. <\/p>\n\n\n\n As for my goals, I am currently in the development stage of forming a business around a product engineered by my mom. I hope to have multiple business ventures in the future and am eager to explore creative production, advertising, branding, web design, graphic design, tiny homes, and investment industries. As for the type of lifestyle I wish to live, my husband and I have made plans on taking travel contracts once he graduates and we will explore new places together while I work on projects and business remotely. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Who am I and what type of person do I want to be? Well, I like to think I am a creative problem-solver, hospitable professional, leader\/mentor, innovator, and creator. If you are familiar with or interested in Myers-Briggs, my personality is an ENFJ-T, otherwise referred to as the “natural-born leader”. I wish to be involved in something greater than myself for the benefit of others and hope to have a positive impact and influence in the lives of those around me. This is why travel is so incredibly dear to me and my family. It gives us an opportunity to experience other ways of thinking and understand different cultures; it is an amazing opportunity to meet new people and form everlasting connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you are interested to hear more about our next adventure, we will be exploring Bali, Indonesia this upcoming Summer of 2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/a>
