Memoir: The reason I choose to include this essay on my e portfolio was because it wasn’t one of my strongest papers I have written for this English course. I din’t take my time when writing and if I could start over again I would. Another reason was because it shows who I was before being a college freshman. It exhibits what I’ve done in the past and I improved.

Rhetorical Analysis: Thirteenth was an amazing documentary. I am pleased to have written an essay on it. I chose to include Thirteenth because it displays what I’ve learned in this English course. It includes the three rhetorical analysis that we have learned; ethos, pathos, and logos.

Food Review: The food review was one of my favorite essays written in this course. I enjoyed going to a new restaurant and talking to my peers. I can see that my writing has improved as I read Handsome Biscuit. I displayed way more imagery in Handsome Biscuit than I did in my memoir, and that shows that I have improved in some form.
