Hello, My name is Niko Florido. As a third-year
cybersecurity student with a 3.96 GPA, I am passionate about applying my academic knowledge and real-world experience to any role. Having recently completed an internship with COVA CCI, where I assessed and enhanced the security posture of a local
government, I have hands-on experience in identifying vulnerabilities, implementing risk
mitigation strategies, and strengthening overall cybersecurity frameworks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout my education, I have gained expertise in areas such as network security,
vulnerability management, incident response, and cybersecurity policies. My experience at COVA CCI allowed me to apply this knowledge in a practical setting, working closely with local government IT teams to identify risks and propose solutions that significantly improved their security posture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outside of academics, I enjoy a well-rounded and active lifestyle. I am an avid volleyball player and runner, activities that challenge me to stay disciplined and push my limits both physically and mentally. I also have a deep appreciation for delicious food\u2014exploring different cuisines is one of my favorite ways to unwind and connect with others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
