Hello, my name is Jacquelyn Nguyen!  I’m a Vietnamese-American student who was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia, and I’m currently still living in my home town.  My major is Communications with a focus in Public Relations including a minor revolving around Marketing.  The reason I took this course was because of my own interest in Social Psychology, and I figured the course content would have a connection with Communication since psychology is also a study of human behavior, understanding why they behave this way, and how it may correlate with their communication skills.  Presently, my goal is to strive for a career revolving around being involved with the public, getting to study current trends, and just overall interacting with people.  My dream is to move to Japan to be more involved in a place I’m less familiar with in order to expand my horizons and skills; I’m currently studying Japanese, and hopefully, I get to enroll in a University there as well to study additional topics such as Japanese History, increasing language skills, folklore, and Japanese Public Relations.
