Review Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and explain how each level relates to your experiences with technology. Give specific examples of how your digital experiences relate to each level of need.

Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs is a pyramid that describes what motivates human behavior on different levels. The levels are physiological needs, safety needs, belongingness and love needs, esteem needs, and self-actualization. These needs in modern day society can very well relate to technology and how they fulfill our needs daily. My physiological needs are helped technologically by a home with lights, water and AC. As well as different devices like fridges, stoves, and microwaves to preserve and cook food.  And my safety needs are meant technologically by cameras, door locks, and my phone to be able to track my location. Belongingness and love needs are met by my phone helping me communicate with my loved ones and friends even when they are not around. Esteem needs are met technologically by school and being able to track my progress physically and academically using my phone and computer. And my self-actualization needs are met technologically through workout equipment, schoolwork done online, and different books and posts I can see online that help me develop as a person.
