Cybersecurity relates directly to the principles of science through objectivity, parsimony, empiricism, ethnic neutrality, determinism, and skepticism. These principles of science give a framework of study to cybersecurity. Relativism shows that the world’s development and change has also has a direct impact on cybersecurity. Parsimony is incredibly important to keep individuals who are not experts in the field informed. In cybersecurity no matter who you are there is some risk of being a victim, so having the ability to give a simple explanation is vital. Empiricism in cybersecurity means that we must only use real things that happen instead of trying to go off of a hunch.  This also relates to ethical neutrality and objectivity as in cybersecurity it is very important not to leave a bias, and instead look at things through a clear lens. Determinism can be super important in cybersecurity, as this can help predict against upcoming cyberattacks through determining past behaviors leading to current behavior. And skepticism in cybersecurity is important as it is always good to question and test theories and findings.
