Social media and news are the largest form of communication for the media to have with citizens in the country. We have seen a large increase in the media pushing different narratives of what they want the people to believe. Many of the views presented have caused unrest and disbelief in the institutions of government today. Social cybersecurity is meant to stop the distrust or misleading media of today and give civilians an accurate depiction of what is really going on.
