For this class, the listening part was a little difficult for me. Being able to see the words and use context clues to understand the meaning of the sentence or phrase helps me a lot. With listening, you have to be able to hear and recognize simultaneously. Most of our listening parts happening in our VHL online work portal.

With the listening portions of the assignments, I was able to slow down the speed of the words and to stop and restart the voice memos to make sure I fully understood the question or statement being said. As the course continued, I was able to keep the speed of the words in its original form and did not have to stop and restart the voice memos so often. The feeling of overcoming and achieving even a small improve as such is amazing.
