The readings in our Aventuras book on VHL were very informative. It opened my eyes to the culture, traditions and lifestyle of Spanish people around the world. The readings also showed that even with the subtle differences in how each sub group greet each other or interact with each other, each group is still bond together but language and culture, traditions and customs.

As I grow in my understand of the people, their language, customs and traditions, they give me a sense of respect for them and have taught me to value my own people’s customs and traditions. I believe as I continue in my profession and calling, know this information will help me to reach people where they are, on common ground and respect the way they would like to be respected and honor.
