Spanish 101 listening part was difficult for me but I can truly say that in Spanish 102, it began a little but became easier to understand and know what is being asked or spoken. I was able to understand the meaning of the sentence or phrase with needing the words right in from of me. I still used context clues when trying to figure out what is being asked but from what the instructor was speaking and not from reading the words. All of our listening parts happened in our Voice Thread online work portal. (See example above.)
Just like in Spanish 101, I was able to slow down the speed of the words and to stop and restart the voice memos to make sure I fully understood the question or statement being said with the listening portions of the assignments. As the course continued, I was able to keep the speed of the words in its original form and did not have to stop and restart the voice memos so often. By the end of the semester, the improve was greatly seen.
