Presentational Writing

Writing what you have learn shows that you have comprehended and adsorbed the knowledge presented. In our paragraph writings, we did exactly that. We wrote what we had comprehended and absorbed over the lessons. The paragraphs ranged from our names and where we live and come from to our families, life in general, vacations and school life. Each paragraph gave us a deeper understand of the Spanish language and how it is used.

As mentioned in above “Reflection” section, may biggest struggle in writing paragraphs was word order. We learning a new language, how written words are place in a sentence could change the meaning of the statement. To help overcome this difficult, I remember that most descriptions of something comes after the object it is describing. For an example, in English “favorite teacher”, favorite describes the teacher. In Spanish, this will be written as “profesor(a) favorito(a)”, the description comes after the object/person in question.
