After listening to the speaker talk about how he got into digital forensics, it was really interesting to see how he didn’t plan on doing this kind of work. He started in regular IT but ended up dealing with more complicated cases, like tracking down emails and recovering lost data. What stood out to me was that his job is about both tech skills and making sure he does things the right way, without invading people’s privacy. 

What I liked most was how his career wasn’t planned. He didn’t know he’d end up in forensics; he just followed where the work took him. It made me realize that sometimes you don’t need to have everything figured out, you just need to be open to new opportunities. His story really shows that careers can change in unexpected ways, and being flexible can lead to more powerful, fun and interesting work.
