This course provided a over view of information focused on the field of cybersecurity. It’s one of the first courses need for students in the Masters of Science in cybersecurity programing. This course covers the core topics of cybersecurity including computer system architectures, critical infrastructures, cyber threats and vulnerabilities, cryptography, cryptographic protocol design, information assurance, network security, and risk assessment and management.

This discussion board highlights the importance of analyzing hypotheticals and thinking outside of the box on solutions. In this discussion board, gives a hypothetical of whether or not companies should charge people to upkeep outdated software and what do we think should happen to software if the company who developed the software went out of business.
