It explores how individuals, groups, and societies interact with technology, how social dynamics shape cybersecurity practices, and how human behavior affects cybersecurity outcomes. This interdisciplinary approach draws from fields such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics, and political science to understand the motivations behind cyber threats, the impact of cybersecurity policies on society, and the effectiveness of cybersecurity education and awareness programs.
