The article “A Survey of Social Cybersecurity” provided a detailed overview of how malicious people exploit social networks and multiple online platforms to manipulate people and communities. They manipulate these people through misinformation, phishing, impersonation, and campaigns. It also reviewed the current detection techniques, which include machine learning, network analysis, and behavioral modeling. The author of the article also emphasized the importance of evaluating tools in real-world context. But overall I think the survey bridges technical and social perspectives together well but I think it will be better if they focused more on user-centered defenses and all the emerging AI-generated threats.
