In this video, a security analyst and hacker rate multiple movie scenes that portray hacking. Something that she says a lot of movies get wrong is trying to make hacking sound like this super complicated thing and that with the best of the best hackers, they can hack into anything they want through their laptop. This is a widespread misconception. When hacking, your ability to get information outside the computer is as important or more important than what you do staring at your screen. Another misconception is how long specific projects might take; certain things may take days or weeks, and movies portray them as one in one evening.
