Nuclear medicine is , &#8221; is a specialized area of radiology that uses very small amounts of radioactive materials to examine organ function and structure.&#8221; (John Hopkins Medicine). I chose Nuclear Medicine as my major because I enjoy seeing internal processes, as well as, diagnosing internal injuries\/ complications.
