2. What is the overlap between criminal justice and cybercrime? How does this overlap relate to the other disciplines discussed in this class?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Engineers continue to increase the security and effectiveness of cyber networks. Engineers keep updating systems, increasing firewall protections, discovering vulnerabilities, and modernizing network systems. Engineers will update the systems to ensure they maintain securities against all modern attack methods. Increasing firewall protections will prevent attacks from infiltrating the network. Firewall protections can help an organization or individuals prevent basic attacks against their networks. Discovering vulnerabilities is another way engineers make cyber networks safer. They work to discover the flaws within the systems that can allow attackers to take advantage of the vulnerabilities. Discovering and fixing the issues within the system can allow organizations to feel safer and protect every aspect of their network. Modernizing the systems helps all the technologies within the network to keep up a high level of performance.  Keeping all systems modernized helps ensure the network’s highest levels of security available. This makes the networks as safe as they can be. Criminal justice and cybercrime are interconnected within each other. All cybercrimes are related to criminal justice. Hackers commit various crimes such as cyber fraud, digital piracy, and cyber attacks. These crimes fall within the criminal justice field as they relate to law enforcement. The police have had a difficult time catching and convicting individuals. These relate to the discussions we\u2019ve had during this class. We discussed all the various types of cybercrimes and how they relate to punishment or the court system. The courts have a hard time in modern society determining charges and the amount of damage caused. Hackers can cause crimes within all the major systems we discussed during the class. These crimes affect everyone from single individuals to major organizations. Cybercrimes will continue to become more common and the systems we discussed are all vulnerable to attacks without proper cybersecurity measures.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
