Select four other majors offered by ODU and explain how those majors relate to cybersecurity

Old Dominion University offers different majors that relate to cybersecurity. There is Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Criminal Justice, and Information Technology. A big major that contributes to cybersecurity is computer science. Computer Science deals with mostly software which includes programs that are always being created and updated. It relates to cybersecurity with all of the designing and development of programs that are being made, but also that are being used in the same way. Computer Engineering deals a lot with both cybersecurity and computer science. It has both software and hardware but mostly contains more problem solving with digital hardware. There is a lot of electrical engineering to help with the hardware in computer engineering as well. Criminal Justice is a popular major that relates more to law, psychology, and sociology. Others do not think of criminal justice as a cybersecurity major, but it relates to hackers, security breaches, identity theft, and stolen information. Criminal justice lends more to the cybercrime which would be to maintain the things that are trying to be damaged or broken into. Information Technology also known as IT is very similar to cybersecurity. In IT they create more rather than monitor information. Information Technology designs develop and studies computer information systems. IT fixes issues that will involve the computers, software, different web sites, serves, WIFI, networks and more. They manage all of the networks that serve a company. They are able to fix the things that can be causing an issue for a cybersecurity analyst to not figure out. Old Dominion University offers many different great programs that can lead you up to taking multiple cybersecurity courses over time. These four-course all do relate to cybersecurity, but not all in the same aspect.
