My parallel major however is Public Health with a minor\nin Addiction Treatment and Prevention. I chose this because it still gives me a\nchance to work in a health care field with a center for people. This interests\nme because with this degree you can work in multiple environments and have\nmultiple different jobs, this keeps it interesting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Some facts\nabout this major is you can go anywhere with it. If I were to pursue it, I\nwould have a concentration in Substance Abuse Reduction\/Prevention. With a career\nin this field one can reach over crowds to asses the needs of the public. It\nalso has many public programs to get involved in, research programs and diverse\naudiences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A degree in\nPublic Health can lead to a career as a Healthcare Administrator. There is a\nminimum of a bachelor\u2019s degree and it supports a clinic, department, or group of\nphysicians by directing and coordination of health services. From there they improve\nthe quality and efficiency of healthcare services. Healthcare administrators\nwork in hospitals, nursing homes, and ambulatory health services or clinics.
