A few characteristics from the NEO evaluation that describe me.

Upon taking the NEO personality evaluation, I was first a little skeptical based on the questions in the assessment of the accuracy or the relevance to me personally. During the evaluation, I found myself looking back on certain questions and then doubting the initial gut answer, but then I decided to leave it be. In regards to the neuroticism portion, I came out average, and I expected it to be much lower than expected, as I often think of myself as a pretty tough and coarse individual. Extraversion was high, which I can agree with because I love being around people, but I do enjoy a certain level of privacy. My openness was also pretty predictable, as I came out pretty high, and I have always seen myself as an adventurous guy. When it came to agreeableness, I was pretty thrown off. The simple term “agreeable” would be a term I would consider myself as, but the test showed a low level of it. So when I looked at the chart with the adjectives, I came to realize was somewhat true, with my levels of competition, as well as how often people have called me hard headed. Lastly, conscientiousness, this too was slightly confusing. When I think of that term I think of how conscious people are of other people, but this test showed that it was more so of myself, and upon that realization, I agree. I came out as rather high, and I can agree with that in some aspects, as I am very goal oriented and organized fellow.
