If the coronavirus pandemic has taught us anything, it is that people have vastly different ideas as to what they consider safe and acceptable interpersonal interactions during a health crisis. As more businesses and workplaces begin to open again, individuals must decide what their personal comfort level with such interactions will be and, then, how best to communicate the decision with others. The most difficult of the conversations may occur between friends or family members. With the assistance of the ODU Office of Counseling Services, this blog post seeks to remove the guesswork when setting boundaries with others.
