The office is currently located in <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/oduwiki\/2018\/02\/09\/william-b-spong-jr-hall\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"419\">William B. Spong, Jr. Hall<\/a>. The office is led by the Chief Audit Executive, who also serves as the Associate Vice President for Compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">History<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The University Audit Department and the Compliance Department were two separate areas until the merger between ODU and Eastern State Medical School (EVMS) on July 1, 2024.
