Brock Institute for Nutrition Science and Health<\/strong>, one of the administrative units of the <strong>Macon &amp; Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University<\/strong> (ODU), integrates nutrition and lifestyle medicine into medical and health professions education, clinical innovation, basic science and translational research, and community health. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">History<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In December 2025, ODU announced the establishment of the institute, thanks to a $15 million gift from Joan P. Brock, philanthropist and generous supporter of ODU initiatives.
