It is located between Elkhorn Avenue and the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/oduwiki\/2019\/05\/07\/mills-godwin-life-sciences-building-mgb\/\">Mills Godwin Life Sciences Building (MGB)<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>History<\/h3>\n<p>The original, rectangular phase of the building opened in 1997 and houses the Department of Ocean and Earth Sciences, the Department of Physics, the College of Sciences and other administrative offices. In 2009, a three-story, 58,000-square-foot wing was added to complete the now L-shaped building as well as an enlarged pond and drawbridge.
