The Innovation Research Park (IRP)<\/strong> at Old Dominion University (ODU)<\/strong> is a collaborative public-private partnership leveraging ODU’s intellectual capital with private-sector companies to pursue innovative approaches to research. The IRP consists of two 100,000 square-foot buildings in the University Village<\/strong><\/a> and houses the Office of Research<\/strong>, several private companies, and university research centers such as the Center for Coastal and Physical Oceanography (CCPO)<\/strong>, Frank Reidy Research Center for Bioelectrics<\/a><\/strong>, and the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

History<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Innovation Research Park was dedicated in 2007 and is located along Monarch Way in the University Village between 41st Street and 43rd Street. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
