The Laissez-fare by definition means \u201c version of classical theory that suggests \u201cgovernment should not intervene in the economy except to protect individuals&#8217; inalienable rights\u201d. This is shown in the letters \u201cwhat are we doing?\u201d section when it said \u201cOur platform provider has also contacted and offered it cooperation to federal law enforcement\u201d. And the rational choice is shown in how the company responded by saying their team is taking the best route possibly therefore they\u2019re making a choice in their best interest. Now two social theories I can possibly see are Neutralization theory and behavioral theory, Neutralization because it can possibly be denial of victim or condemnation of condemners.
