Scheduling for Finals

We are officially ONE month out from finals!

It is time to create a schedule for studying for finals. Making a schedule out in advance takes away some of the stress for those fast approaching exams. Use these tips to ensure that you plan enough time to study for all of your exams:

  1. Write down the date and time of each exam in your phone and/or planner
  2. Figure out if each exam is cumulative
    1. If cumulative, start finding all of your old notes and organize them
  3. Have a study plan at least 1 week out from each test
    1. Break up chapters to review each day leading up to the test
  4. Schedule times throughout the remaining weeks to go to tutoring for those concepts you are still unclear on
  5. Create a to-do list each day to hold yourself accountable to finish those final assignments

If you need help creating a schedule, managing your time, or improving your study skills for finals, schedule an appointment with a Peer Academic Coach.
