For the past couple of days, I’ve woken up to literal social media chaos. If you aren’t careful you can ruin your day before it even begins by just looking at the news. I’ve had people ask me, “how are you making it during this time of social isolation.”My answer is very simple, I think of the hundreds of thousands of people that have been infected, I think of the health workers taking the disease head-on, and I think of all the families impacted. I say that to say this, my situation could be way worse than what it is right now. I may be bored and tired of sitting in the house doing nothing, but some people don’t even have that luxury. I challenge you to take on an attitude of gratitude and live each day with optimism.
There is already enough negativity and panic being spread via social media, do not feed into it. During these dark times be somebody else’s sunshine. Check on your loved ones and cherish your family. Choose each day to be positive and optimistic. We are all in this together and we will all survive together.
