Have you ever just sat back and thought to yourself, “Why am I school?”
Most of us don’t think too hard about it because we may just be going through the motions every day of getting up, going to class, going home, doing homework, eating, sleeping, REPEAT.
Maybe it is normal for you to go to school… You’ve been doing it since kindergarten so it just makes sense; It’s what you think you are supposed to do.
Maybe your parents wanted you to go to school. They never did, and they wanted to make sure you had that opportunity and took full advantage of it.
Maybe you have really big career goals.
Maybe you are simply just trying to prove to yourself that you can do it.
Maybe you were forced to go.
Whatever your reason is, it is important to sit back and remember your purpose. Remember “Why” you are here, WHY you are learning everyday and WHY you wake up in the morning.
I found this great TED talk (below) which really emphasizes finding your purpose and knowing your “why”. Your purpose is truly what sets you as a person apart from others. It is a person’s purpose which ultimately propels their successes.
