I am originally from a small country in West Africa named\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cia.gov\/library\/publications\/the-world-factbook\/geos\/to.html\">Togo.<\/a>\u00a0I moved to the United States when I was eleven years old because my father wanted me to attend school here. Since then, I\u2019ve lived in Virginia Beach, VA. I choose Old Dominion University because it was close to home, and I liked the overall vibe of the University. I was originally majoring in Nursing, but I switched to Public Health because I realized nursing not the right path for my career choice. Being a Public Health major allows me take classes that are directly related to the ones I have to take to be a pharmacist later on in life. \u00a0People working in the public health field have to find ways to promote healthy habits in a specific community.
