A 12-year-old Cyber Security Expert

It is truly amazing and commendable that what a 12-year-old is doing in the cyber security community. The knowledge and skills that he has may not be found in many skilled workers. The future vision of Paul is very simple. In the future, he would like to work on the betterment of cyber security and take it to the next level. Paul’s goal is to create a cyber security environment that can be secured for everyone. From Paul’s point of view, the cyber security we have is not helping us, and it is vulnerable. The use of Bluetooth devices has significantly increased in the last decades. Now, we can see Bluetooth in cars, home, appliances, etc. It is the most vulnerable device and could get turned in to the needs of a hacker. Paul showed how he had converted the Bluetooth device of a teddy bear to the voice recorder. As well, he mentioned about the risk of connecting to a public Wi-Fi or a network that you are not sure of. Nowadays, there are many employees prefer to go to a Starbucks location and do their work by using the public Wi-Fi of the Starbucks. Nonetheless, they are not aware that it could wipe up their data and money. I agree with the Paul’s idea that we need to create an environment that can protect everyone. As well, we need to spread the knowledge of the cyber security in the community to prevent cyber-attacks.
