I learned a lot about cross cultural psychology and about myself. I learned a lot about American culture that I don’t believe I was truly aware of because I am submerged in it daily. Only when it was contrasted with other cultures did is stand out to me and I was able to recognize ideologies and world views that are truly unique to American society and second nature to me.
