Hello. My name is Sharon. I am a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. After earning an Associate of Arts degree (many moons ago), I worked in retail and mortgage banking.  When my daughter was born, I chose to be a full time parent and home educator. Currently, I work full time in a retail farm and home center as a Sales Service Representative and Buyer. This is my seventh online class at Old Dominion. I am a part-time student working toward a degree in psychology…one class at a time. While I still have not decided what to do once I have completed my degree, I am certain that what I have learned so far, and what I have yet to learn, will be beneficial in a wide variety of employment and life situations. I chose to take this course in Social Psychology for the same reason. I hope to gain some insight into navigating social situations of all types.
