However, for my interests, the categories within these roles that I found the most intriguing to the least intriguing would be Protection and Defense (PD), Investigation (IN), Implementation and Operation (IO), Design and Development (DD), and Oversight and Governance (OG). Next, I shall clarify why I find the first three topics the most interesting and why I am not too thrilled about Oversight and Governance.

I find Protection and Defense to be the most fascinating and engaging work role category because it follows what I hope I will do for my future career. I want a career where I am able to detect risks, prevent threats, and examine problems. Therefore, it appears that Protection and Defense would be the most fitting category for me, with work roles such as Threat Analysis, Defensive Cybersecurity, and Digital Forensics. However, the other two roles can be quite as exciting.

With Investigation, I will be able to be a digital detective, with work roles such as Cybercrime Investigation and Digital Evidence Analysis where I will mostly be investigating cybercrime and incidents that would take place in cybersecurity. For Implementation and Operations, I will also be enhancing and maintaining cybersecurity technology and programs with roles such as Data Analysis, Network Operations, and Technical Support. PD, IN, and IO are the three categories that interest me the most. Design and Development is decent, but I feel ambivalent towards that category.

Unfortunately, Oversight and Governance would be the categories in which I am the least interested. It is a category just as important as the other four. However, it requires me to have leadership, provide teaching and instructions for others, and overall be very communicative within the work roles. I believe I am not suited for such proactive roles. These can be left for more qualified individuals with roles such as Cybersecurity Instruction, Cybersecurity Legal Advice, and Cybersecurity Policy and Planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
References<\/h1>\n\n\n\n
NICCS.
