The decision to escalate incidents to law enforcement with conflict prevalent bears many pros and cons. In one hand, the resources and manpower that law enforcement holds is quite substantial when compared to that of a non government entity. The escalation also brings the introduction of potential long lasting effects such as lawsuits or fines that extend over the duration of time affected. However, when law enforcement is involved, a full and thorough investigation which may seize or limit production of a company could take place. This could severely limit a businesses effectiveness especially considering it would take place during or after a situation would have to be introduced in the first place.
