Cybersecurity Internship

This course allows students to volunteer to work in an agency related to cybersecurity. Students must volunteer for 50 hours per course credit and complete course assignments.

Skill Development

    • Learned how to handle large, organization-wide incidents efficiently
    • Gained proficiency in ticketing systems and back end support systems
  • Professional
    • Gained inter-departmental communication skills and professional best practices
    • Learned the process behind organizational acquisition and merging.
  • Technical
    • Became efficient in our ticketing system to assign and delegate tickets to different departments
    • Handled our backend user support and assisted with resetting passwords, troubleshooting account services, and drawing conclusions based on the evidence found within the users account.
