What is the CIA Triad?

What is the CIA Triad? the Cia Triad stands for Confidentail, Integrety, Avalibility. The CIA Traid is actully a security  model that has been developed to help people think aboout varios parts of IT. Confidentail means for Only authorized users and processes should be able to access or modify  data. Integrety means for Data should be maintained in a correct state and nobody should be able to improperly modify it, either accidentally or maliciously. Avalibility stands means Authorized users should be able to access data whenever they need to do so.

The difference between Authorization and Authentication is that authentication deals with making sure that people are who they say they are for security purposes. Authorization deals with making sure the right people have the right access to which data to try and prevent different problems and issues. My examples are with the new iPhones you have different ways to get into your phone so they made Face IDs and fingerprints to eliminate some of the issues and problems with iPhones. Examples of authentication are real vs. fake/replica sneakers, preventing some hackings until they find out how to avoid the issues or find another way to get around it or like when you have to sign in to google or a Gmail account. My examples for Authorization is granting someone access to something like when you sign into an iPhone you have to have someone grant you access to be able to sign in, or whey you are playing the game and you need an access code the game is allowing you to grant access to sign in and it’s just to make sure the right person has access to your gaming account just in case something happens.
