ePortfolios were used in this course to foster integrative learning (c.f., Cambridge, 2009; Peet et al., 2011). Students worked from a template that included sections to introduce themselves, sections to showcase “top artifacts” from each of their integrated courses, and a section to reflect on their ILE experiences. Outside of the course, the ePortfolios from students in the ILE were compared to non-ILE students to examine the impact of the ILE experience in the context of IDW learning objectives.
