{"id":20,"date":"2026-03-16T16:55:28","date_gmt":"2026-03-16T16:55:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/slp-template-draft\/?page_id=20"},"modified":"2026-05-12T13:41:03","modified_gmt":"2026-05-12T13:41:03","slug":"about-me","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.wp.odu.edu\/quality-improvement-workshops\/","title":{"rendered":"About the Workshops"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Launch and Complete a Successful QI Project in Your Program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CME Committee at Macon &amp; Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences EVMS at ODU is pleased to offer a&nbsp;<strong>hands-on Quality Improvement (QI) Workshop&nbsp;Series&nbsp;<\/strong>designed to help faculty, residents, and clinical teams develop meaningful QI projects while meeting&nbsp;licensure&nbsp;expectations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our institution has enrolled in the&nbsp;<strong>American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Portfolio Program<\/strong>, supporting initiatives that improve patient care and clinical outcomes. To help departments&nbsp;participate&nbsp;in these efforts, our&nbsp;<strong>CME Committee and Quality Improvement Taskforce<\/strong>&nbsp;have assembled very enthusiastic faculty members with prior training in QI who will&nbsp;guide&nbsp;and mentor&nbsp;teams through the development and completion of a practical QI project.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Workshop Start Date:<\/strong>&nbsp;Fall 2026&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>&nbsp;TBD<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Time:&nbsp;<\/strong>5:00pm \u2013 7:00 pm&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<br><strong>Enrollment:<\/strong>&nbsp;Limited to&nbsp;<strong>5 teams<\/strong>&nbsp;for the first&nbsp;cohort.
