The CIA Triad stands for Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability is a model designed to guide the polices for the information security within an organization. These are the three concepts that create the CIA triad. Confidentiality is private information that measures the designed to prevent sensitive information from unauthorized access attempts. Integrity involves maintaining the consistency, accuracy, and trustworthiness of data over its entire lifecycle. Availability means information should be consistently and readily accessible for authorized parties.
