I chose to volunteer at a doctor&#8217;s office. My role was to assist the doctors and nurses with taking vitals, prescription refill requests, setting up rooms, and handling patient complaints. The knowledge I gained through this experience included learning about how individuals struggle with insurance covering their visits and prescriptions, hundreds of medical terms, and different medications.
