This class was a necessity not only was it a requirement this gives me a better understanding of what goes on in the human body. One topic I found profound is everything dealing with cell communication. Cell communication deals with cells sending and receiving signals through multiple ways. I have been made aware with three different communication styles; autocrine, paracrine, and endocrine signaling. Autocrine is for known for self communication, paracrine is known for short distance communication, and endocrine is known for long-distance communication. The most interesting one, for me, is the endocrine communicating type because it has it messages go through the bloodstream. Although this may be nothing new, I find it pretty fascinating that our inside communicate just like we do verbally, in a way.
