Dr. Ryan Klinger is an Associate Professor of Management who joined the\u00a0Strome College of Business\u00a0at Old Dominion University in 2011. He holds a PhD in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from the University of Florida.<\/p>\n
His research interests lie at the intersection of organizational behavior and human resource management. More specifically, Dr. Klinger’s research examines the individual-level and group-level predictors of organizational criteria such as job satisfaction, job performance, and career success.<\/p>\n
In addition, his research explores how organizations are best served capitalizing on this knowledge when making important human resource decisions.<\/p>\n
This research has been published in journal outlets including the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Managerial Psychology, Applied Psychology: An International Review, <\/em>and Social and Personality Psychology Compass. <\/em><\/p>\n Dr. Klinger currently teaches three courses for the MBA program in the Strome College of Business: MBA695 – Emotional Intelligence; MGMT605 – Leadership Dynamics; MGMT612 – Managing in Contemporary Organizations.
