I am a very introverted person, so contacting someone I did not know and having to talk to them about their career was tricky. I was having trouble on multiple sites trying to get into contact with people I found interesting, more so the thing they did for their respective organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything I do, and most assignments that allow me to, are about soccer. Soccer allows me to freely write any of my opinions and research that I have gained throughout the years, and put it into my work. In most cases, they turn out to be my best work. So, while I did have in mind what type of professional I wanted to contact, I was going to attempt to contact someone who works for a soccer club. My first option was someone I found on online was a sports journalist and photographer who worked for a university of Illinois. I contacted him in the hopes I would get a reply. I did not. I kept on contacting other people, but with no avail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, through one of my friends, he was able to contact someone who worked at the stadium, and they were able to connect me with Claudia Pagan, who is a reporter for DC United. She was very polite, and a meet was to occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Claudia Pagan is of Puerto Rico descent and is also the Senior Content Producer for their social media accounts. She has had numerous jobs before she took the job in Washington, DC about 5 years ago. She has numerous social media accounts documenting her daily life and her interactions with the various players she encounters. She also provides news about the MLS as a whole, for her viewers who may not know the information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
